Even more disappointing, the female leads—Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, and Sonam Bajwa—are treated as little more than glamorous props. They’re mostly there for dance sequences and objectified shots, making the film feel dated and insensitive.
Too Long, Not Funny, and a Bit Much
Let’s be real, Housefull 5 is a tough watch. It runs for 2 hours and 45 minutes, and it really drags, especially in the beginning. You’ll sit through a lot of cringey, childish jokes, some casual sexism, and even a few animal cruelty gags that just aren’t funny and might make you uncomfortable.
