The Congress leaders disclosed that Rahul Gandhi had earlier spoken to the family and promised them of all possible support. As per his promise, the family was given a cheque of ₹11 lakh which would help them to pay off their outstanding debt. Also, ₹2 lakh cash was also offered as immediate help.
