As Cyclone Tauktae grew stronger and became a cyclonic storm, air carriers Vistara and IndiGo airline announced that their flight operations would likely be affected.

Gujarat has made all necessary preparations. The CM Vijay Rupani said, “We are operating with the concern that there should be no casualties in the Cyclone Tauktae.”
The state government has made all necessary arrangements and established a control room. District administrations in the Saurashtra and south Gujarat regions, which are expected to be affected by the cyclone, have been notified. Vijay Rupani told reporters in Palanpur, Banaskantha district, that NDRF teams are arriving in the state and will be deployed.
