The NCB opposed to their petitions, fearing that the money might be used for drug trafficking.

However, the court reasoned that the banks would have records of their following transactions. While the financial investigation into the situation is still ongoing, the bank accounts are maintained by the respective banks, with records kept in the form of physical and digital documentation; the court said.
