Due to the fact that IIT Kharagpur confirmed that the GATE 2022 exam will be held on the scheduled dates of February 5, 6, 12, and 13, students turned to Twitter again on Friday to demanding that the exam be postponed due to COVID situations.

Here is the GATE exam pattern 2022 & Syllabus:

GATE exam is conducted for admission to Masters programs and for recruitment in some public sector companies. This exam is a computer based test. The GATE exam is conducted for a total of 100 marks. The score is valid for three years after the declaration of the result. The paper of GATE exam 2022 is objective type, consisting of three pattern of questions. Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type Questions are all included in this exam. In MCQs, each incorrect answer is deducted one mark. In MSQ and NAT, however, there is no negative grading for incorrect answers.

This year, two new subject papers have been added: GE (Geomatics Engineering) and NM (Natural Resources) (Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering).
