Cyclone Tauktae Live Tracking Update; May Hit Today Evening In Gujarat

Cyclone Tauktae Live: Cyclone Tauktae is moving towards to Gujarat in the north after wreaking havoc in coastal areas of Kerala, Karnataka, and Goa on Sunday. Meanwhile, light rain and high waves rose in the sea along with the powerful winds in Maharashtra’s coastal areas, including Mumbai.

Due to the cyclonic storm, BMC has closed Mumbai airport from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. The monorail is also closed for the day at the same time.

According to the IMD, heavy to very heavy rainfall is possible in Gujarat’s coastal areas on May 18. People living near the Malia coastal areas in Junagadh were evacuated to safe places before Sunday evening. More than 1200 people have been evacuated from here; said area collector Saurabh Pardhi after inspecting the arrangements. In terms of food and shelter, all precautionary steps are being taken.
