Baba Ka Dhaba owner Kanta Prasad Attempted Suicide But He Was Hospitalized

Baba Ka Dhaba owner Kanta Prasad's wife told to the police that he was depressed for the last few days.

Kanta Prasad’s ‘Baba Ka Dhaba’ in Malviya Nagar, south Delhi. Kanta Prasad was admitted to Delhi Safdarjung Hospital on Thursday night. His health is still in risk.

He allegedly attempted suicide, according to Delhi Police. According to police, information was received on a PCR call late Thursday night that a person had attempted suicide and was admitted to the hospital.

When the police arrived on the scene, it was found that he was Kanta Prasad, according to a senior police officer. He is currently in the hospital getting treatment. His wife told the police that he had been depressed for several days.

Kanta Prasad had to close the restaurant he founded in December of last year, according to his wife, and return to his old roadside stall. He stated that the expense of operating the new restaurant was approximately one lakh rupees, and that he was only earning thirty thousand rupees.

DCP (South) Atul Thakur stated that Karan, Baba Ka Dhaba Kanta Prasad’s son, stated in his police statement that his father had consumed alcohol and sleeping tablets. Further investigation is underway.
