Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli became mother and father to a baby girl on Monday, January 11. Sharing the same in an reliable statement, Virat published on Twitter, “We are thrilled to share with you all that we were blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thanks taken with your love, prayers and excellent wishes. Anushka and the baby are each healthy and we’re feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. It was in August 2020 that Anushka and Virat introduced that they had been awaiting their first baby. The couple have been separated for days, visiting the clinic frequently.
