The series titled ‘Aadha Ishq‘ debuted tonight on Voot for subscribed members, and I just completed watching it. Here is a thorough review of the web series, including plot, performances, and some highlights and drawbacks.
Gaurav Arora (Raaz 3 and Love Games) appears in the series, which also features Aamna Sharif, Pratibha Ranta, and Kunal Roy Kapoor. The show is produced by 24 Frames Media and directed by Nandita Mehra in important roles. The series consists of nine episodes, each lasting approximately 35-50 minutes; the series is not recommended for viewing with family or children.

When it comes to the series’ plot, Roma, Saahir, Rene, and Milind are the major characters in the series. Before we get into the performance, I’d like to say that I found the story to be very simple, and that we’d seen similar series before; the story is slow and predictable; the locations were good; the music was brilliant; however, with so much content coming out this Friday, this series fails to make the must-watch list.
Gaurav Arora looks decent; he has a Raaz 3 vibe to him. He is a very good actor, no doubt, but he looks very familiar with his previous role here. His eyes act very beautifully, his body language was brilliant, and most importantly, he manages to deliver great chemistry with both of the series’ actresses. Kunal Roy Kapoor was fantastic in his role; he looked intense and gloomy, and he delivered it wonderfully, and he transitioned seamlessly from comedic to serious and dramatic roles.
Pratibha Ranta and Aamna Sharif were decent in their roles; Pratibha has great chemistry with Gaurav, whereas Aamna looks awesome as a married woman; she was very expressive and decent during conversation delivery. The other characters in the film were also decent; overall, the web series was a mixed bag of performances.
